Raw Vegan Bread
This raw bread is grain-free, nut-free, gluten-free and paleo-friendly. It’s also a great bread replacement for the raw vegan diet. This recipe makes enough for approximately 8 sandwiches.

- 1 cup Flax seeds
- 1 cup Chia seeds
- 1 tsp Himalayan salt
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 Yellow Onion
- 1 1/3 cup Sunflower seeds
- 2 tbsp Tamari or soy sauce (optional)
Grind up flax and chia seeds with a coffee grinder or blender and add to the bowl.
Finely chop the onion, mince the clove of garlic and add the salt to the bowl. Add the tamari or soy sauce.
Add sunflower seeds, grind up the pepitas and add to the mix.
Add the water until you reach a sticky consistency, and the mixture wants to form a ball in your hand.
Place in your dehydrator and even out the mixture by using a spatula. It should be at least 1 cm in thickness, so it won't fall apart once it's dehydrated.
Dehydrate for 4 hours and then flip over and dehydrate again for another 3-4 hours. Cut the bread once cooled to room temperature.
